Description:My Master's Thesis for SFSU, Building an Internship Program: A Guide for Businesses, was completed in August of 1999. The focus of the project was to provide a resource for small to medium size businesses interested in starting an internship program.
A combination workbook/CD-ROM, these materials provide the target audience a variety of means to access content in both print and multimedia formats.
The workbook provides important information to keep an internship program on track, including checklists, worksheets, and forms. The CD-ROM includes an interactive application that allows users to browse abbreviated content and access the resources in the Acrobat format.
The workbook was written and created using Adobe FrameMaker and Acrobat. The CD-ROM was authored using Macromedia Director.
Industry professionals including small business owners, school-to-career organization representatives, interns, and human resource professionals formally evaluated this project. Available for viewing on request.
